We asked families if there was interest in a Dads and Kids group and the response was amazing. This group meets on Friday morning and registration is required since the group is busy! Thank you, Dads, for carving out this time to spend with your children. The benefits in the long term are incredible.

💃 The Nantucket Community School DanceWorks program is thrilled to be piloting TAP dance classes beginning next week!
● Registration is open online
● Classes will be held on Wednesdays, at 56 Centre Street, in Haddon Hall
● Space is limited and attendance is extremely important!

We have been having so much fun at our playgroups! From handprint ornaments with Create at Play With Me, to viewing the Festival of Trees at Little History Explorers, we certainly have been busy. It is hard to pick just one or two photos!

And just like that...today marks the last day of ACKventure Camp!

These past 7 weeks have been full of fun and adventures, and we can't believe it's over! A very special THANK YOU goes to the various island organizations that partnered with us this year and helped create a summer our ACKventure Campers will never forget!

And an extra special ❗️thank you❗️to all of our camp counselors, and to our camp director Shauna Carthy who will be leaving NCS to work at the elementary school!! Our team and the kids will miss you so much!!

Our ACKventure Campers had so much fun with Sustainable Nantucket and the Nantucket Historical Association this week!

We got to eat freshly grown veggies right out of the garden🥒🥬🍅🥕, complete arts & crafts projects in the Discovery Room at the NHA's Whaling Museum🎨, and we also took part in Wampanoag Immersion Experience Day at Children's Beach on Wednesday! There we got to participate in hands-on activities, and also had front row seats to a special song and dance performance! We even got up and danced together!

It seems like yesterday that we completed our first week of camp, and next week marks our last. We can hardly believe it! See you for week 7️⃣‼️
